1. Who we are

Story Refill is provided by Tent Softlab SL, Carrer de Marià Cuber, 17, 46011 València, Spain (“we”). By creating an account you agree to these Terms and confirm that you have read our Privacy Policy.

2. The service

Story Refill copies episodes of podcasts you choose onto Creative Tonies in your own Tonies account, using your own Tonies login, on your instruction. The service is free and currently in beta. Features may change, and we may suspend or end the service at any time.

3. Independence from tonies and Yoto

Story Refill is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by tonies or Yoto. It relies on the Tonies cloud, which tonies may change, restrict or switch off at any time without notice. If that happens, Story Refill may stop working, partly or entirely. We cannot guarantee compatibility.

4. Your responsibilities

• You must be 18 or older and use Story Refill only for your own household, not commercially.
• You may only connect a Tonies account that you are entitled to use. You remain bound by the tonies terms of use, and you decide whether connecting a third-party service suits you.
• You choose the podcasts. You are responsible for being allowed to listen to them privately, and for not using the service to spread content you have no rights to.
• Keep access to your email account secure, since it is how you sign in.
• Do not misuse the service: no attacks, scraping, overloading, or attempts to reach other users’ data.

5. Content

Podcasts belong to their publishers. We do not create, review, host or store podcast audio. We transfer publicly available episodes to your Tonie on your instruction, for your private use. We are not responsible for podcast content or its suitability for children. Please check what your children listen to.

6. Changes to your Creative Tonies

When you choose a podcast for a Creative Tonie, Story Refill adds its newest episodes as chapters and, to make room, removes older chapters that Story Refill added itself, except the ones you pin. Chapters you put on the Tonie yourself are never removed or changed, although they use up space. Episodes already on a Tonie stay there when you stop refills or delete your account.

7. Liability

The service is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, loss of data or content, or interruptions, including those caused by tonies, podcast publishers or other third parties.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, or where liability cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer law.

8. Ending

You can delete your account at any time in the app. Your data is erased as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend accounts that break these Terms.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will ask for your agreement when you next sign in. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account.

10. Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your own courts. Questions and complaints: hello@tentsoftlab.com.
